Focusing on image files only, it must be said that ABCPix can be used to view images (JPEG, TIGG, BMP, and other formats are supported), to crop images, to grab images from videos, and to set images as the desktop wallpaper. Switching focus from image files to videos files, it must be said that ABCPix can be used to play videos.

You will have no problems getting ABCPix up and running on your Windows-powered machine. You’ll have to go through a standard setup process that takes little time to complete: download a small executable, run it, follow the instructions presented to you by a setup wizard.

The ABCPix interface is made up of two windows. The window to the left allows you to easily browse your system and locate picture folders. Access a picture folder and thumbnail previews of all the images inside that folder will be presented in the window to the right. Select a thumbnail and a larger preview will be presented in the window to the left. Double click that preview and ABCPix will go to full screen and display the image in all its glory.

There’s nothing complicated about using ABCPix. Use the aforementioned interface to find and view image and video files – JPG, BMP, TIFF, AVI, MPEG, and other formats are supported. By using the buttons on the interface, the left click, and the right click context menu, you can set images as the desktop wallpaper, grab images from videos, crop images, move files, print out images, and so on.

ABCPix is not free, it is only free to try. A 30-day trial period is offered for evaluation purposes.

View images and play videos with a bit of help from ABCPix.

Pros

You won’t have any problems getting ABCPix up and running and you won’t have any problems getting accustomed to the interface. View images, crop images, grab images, play videos, and more can be done with ABCPix.

Cons

Free to use for 30 days; nag screen.
